Linux Router Gateway with Centos 5

INSTALL LINUX SERVER (CENTOS 5)

Install CentOS 5 from CD, consist of 6 CD (requirements):
Hardware specipication
1GB RAM
20GB harddisk

File System:
/boot 256MB ext3
/swap 1GB (2x Memori)
/home space make it be ext3
/space make it be ext3



software package that installed when installation

· httpd/apache
· squid
· mrtg
· etc

LINUX CONSOLE
After finish the booting process, we will come for look screen console from linux
login as root (super user) with the password that we have set it before.
if success here will appear prompt.

it mean you have succes login as user root at your linux machine and now you already for make the comfiguration at the linux machine, now you arrive at bash prompt with sign "#".
